Old doll and wig Courtrai Verhoye UNICA Belgium BR 415913

This old doll will need to be restored but nevertheless remains, given its great age, still in fairly good overall condition.

The numerous photos say a lot on their own...

There are traces of use, the eyes are sleepy but stick a little and traces of glue or brown paint on the head.

Facial assembly slots visible on each side, doll's original hair will definitely need to be replaced.

It's a head with an open mouth, the color of the eyebrows will need to be reviewed as well as the eyelashes which are partly missing.

The head is marked in a circle on the back of the neck: VERHOYE - UNICA - BELGIUM - BR 415913 - COURTRAI

Head material: unknown (may be bakelite)

This antique doll is about 75cm tall.

The wood and market paper body is fully articulated, it also has imperfections caused by time and use, all is clearly visible on the pictures.

Probable period of manufacture circa 1923.

This doll comes with a very beautiful doll wig with natural and very long hair brown.

This wig has two small built-in combs so it can be put on a doll that already has hair.
