Vintage Painted Metal Trinket Box – Floral Rose Design and Ball Feet

With its romantic floral decoration and beautifully aged colours, this vintage painted metal trinket box recalls the charm of decorative accessories once displayed on dressing tables, bedroom furniture and elegant little cabinets.

Its rectangular silhouette, gently curved sides and four rounded ball feet create an attractive and unusual shape.

The olive-green background, enriched with subtle bronze tones, provides a beautiful setting for bouquets of dusty pink roses, golden-yellow flowers, cream blossoms and muted blue-green foliage.

Beautiful Raised Floral Decoration

The hinged lid is adorned with a generous floral arrangement featuring fully opened roses, delicate blossoms, flower buds and softly shaded leaves.

The decoration has been applied with raised brushstroke-like effects, creating subtle texture and depth across the surface.

Matching floral bouquets decorate the sides of the box, giving the entire piece a harmonious appearance.

The carefully arranged petals, delicate foliage and soft colour contrasts enhance its romantic vintage appeal.

The combination of floral painting and aged olive-green metal makes this small decorative box especially attractive.

An Elegant Shape with Four Ball Feet

Beyond its charming decoration, this vintage metal jewellery and keepsake box stands out for its unusual construction.

Its slightly curved sides are reminiscent of traditional decorative caskets and small dressing-table boxes.

Four rounded feet with a warm copper-coloured finish elevate the box, while a metal hinge allows the lid to open.

Inside, a simple golden-coloured metal finish provides an attractive contrast with the richly decorated exterior.

The compartment may be used to store jewellery, letters, small keepsakes and other personal treasures. Delicate items should be protected from direct contact with the metal.

Romantic Vintage Decoration

This charming floral box would make a lovely addition to a dressing table, bedroom chest of drawers, console or decorative shelf.

Displayed alongside an antique mirror, vintage books or a small vase of flowers, it brings a soft romantic touch to an interior.

It will particularly appeal to collectors of vintage decorative boxes, floral accessories and distinctive second-hand decorative objects.

Its subtle colours and original shape also make it an attractive addition to a carefully curated collection of vintage treasures.

Authentic Vintage Patina

This painted metal box shows visible signs of age and previous use, including rubbing along the edges, small areas of paint loss, surface marks, slight oxidation and localised wear to the floral decoration.

The golden interior also displays some signs of use.

These imperfections can be seen in the detailed photographs and form part of the character of this vintage piece.

A delightful vintage floral trinket box combining romantic rose decoration, aged metal and the delicate charm of decorative objects from the past.
